Welcome to World Neighbors Cafe Kiyosumishirakawa, a delightful gem located in the heart of Koto City, Tokyo. This charming café is not just a place to grab a bite; it offers a unique experience where you can enjoy exquisite sandwiches while doing your laundry. The cozy atmosphere makes it an ideal stop for both locals and visitors looking to unwind after exploring the nearby attractions, such as the art museum just a stone's throw away.

One of the highlights of the menu includes the #1 WNC Sandwich, a creative combination of succulent pork sautéed to perfection, paired with the refreshing zest of orange, a touch of arugula, and layers of rich cheddar and Gouda cheese. This sandwich is a symphony of flavors, with the slight bitterness of arugula acting as the perfect counterpoint to the sweetness of the orange. For just JP¥1,350, you can elevate your meal by adding crispy French fries or a small dessert for a mere JP¥300 more, transforming it into a delightful dining experience.

If you're in the mood for something sweet yet savory, the Apple Pork Sandwich is a must-try. This creation seamlessly blends the sweetness of apples with perfectly cooked pork and melted cheddar, providing an exciting texture and flavor profile for just JP¥1,300. For those seeking a classic, the Margherita Chicken Sandwich featuring roast chicken, vibrant tomatoes, and gooey mozzarella is an absolute crowd-pleaser.

The café’s atmosphere is one of calm and creativity, featuring a warm, inviting interior that blossoms with friendly service. Customers have raved about the café's delightful offerings, such as the banana bread with ice cream, and praised the staff's attentiveness, as highlighted by Lindsay “Lindz” B. This little oasis is perfect for taking a moment to recuperate during a busy day, allowing you to sink into a comfortable chair surrounded by the warm aromas of fresh coffee and baked goods.

World Neighbors Cafe has also been commended for its family-friendly environment with a thoughtful KIDs MENU, ensuring even the youngest visitors leave satisfied with a delightful egg and strawberry jam sandwich along with a drink of their choice for only JP¥850.

As you sip on a cup of their rich black Americano, consider the local reviews that reflect the charm of this café. Customer ‘Kai’ mentions the comfortable yet limited seating, making it a good idea to consider takeout if the café gets crowded. The ambiance, combined with the delectable menu offerings, leaves guests wanting to return for leisurely afternoons. Dagmar Balazova notes the variety, including plant-based options, genuinely catering to diverse dietary preferences.

In summary, whether you're enjoying a sumptuous sandwich or engaging in casual conversation with fellow patrons, World Neighbors Cafe Kiyosumishirakawa stands out as a fantastic culinary stop in Tokyo. With its unique blend of comfort, flavor, and friendly service, it’s sure to become a favorite spot for anyone visiting the area.

A small café where you can do your laundry and have a cup of coffee while waiting. The sandwich may take a little bit of time to be served but is worth the wait. I recommend the original (?) #1 WNC sandwich since the combination of pork, orange & cheese is awesome. However, there are not many seats so if you come here on a crowded day, you may want to consider take-out and try the sandwich at the near-by park (which is very huge) just on the opposite side of the road.

The apple pork sandwich was really delicious. A cup of black americano coffee also went down well. Friendly welcome, and the menu is available in English. Not a big place, but there were seats available to sit and enjoy a pause from a busy day exploring. The cafe is conveniently located close to the art museum.

Nice cafe combining a cafe place and a laundry. Friendly staff! It's a good option if you want a nice drink to take at Kiba Park. But I've found it a bit too expensive. ¥600 for a lemon squash...

I had the pork and apple cheddar sandwich. Incredible. Two months later I’m still thinking about that sandwich. Juicy pork, perfectly seasoned, good cheese and onions cooked just right to pair with the sliced apple. Great bread too. And the salad (coleslaw) it came with was a nice touch, added some side balance to the salt and fat of the sandwich. 10/10 would order again
